EV Charging Stations in Shopping Centers

A growing number of ev store drivers are visiting retail locations specifically to charge their vehicles. This provides an opportunity for shopping center owners to increase brand loyalty and attract new customers – especially if the charging stations are conveniently located and easy to find.

EV chargers can be installed in a wide range of stores, from convenience retailers to grocery stores and big box retailers. Regardless of the store type, installing chargers is a great way to show a commitment to sustainability and support environmental initiatives that may be important to an EV owner.

Tesla Model 3 2023 Battery: Specifications and Performance

According to Consumer Reports, c-store chains are leading the way in terms of offering EV charging, with Sheetz and Wawa tops among national brands with over 10% of their sites equipped with chargers. Other regional c-store chains like Maverik, Caseys and Royal Farms have also made headway with the technology.

In the c-store space, most chargers are DC fast charge ports, which provide a faster recharge than Level 2 chargers and allow EV owners to get back on the road in less time. The number of DC fast chargers is expected to grow dramatically as more electric cars are sold and the need for speedier charging becomes even more critical.

The specific amenities a retailer offers with its EV charging stations will vary, but some locations use the technology to generate revenue by placing chargers in fee-based parking garages or other gated areas, or simply by charging for electricity delivered. Others use a more casual approach, offering free charging for a shorter period and then requiring a fee for longer stays.…

Garmin Explore 2 Review

Garmin’s Edge range of GPS devices have always been positioned for navigation/routing and this 2022 iteration takes that focus further. It strips away some of the more advanced training data features that might appeal to performance riders but keeps all the core functions most cyclists need. It also adds a lot of the navigational functions found on the flagship Edge 1040 at a much lower price.

Explore 2, 3, 4 BHK flats/property for sale in Pune has been reliable and has performed well when it’s been used for navigation. It doesn’t have the fancier dual-frequency GNSS chip of some other Garmin Edge models but it does feature a battery saver mode that can significantly extend battery life when you’re not using the moving map display.

Like other recent Garmin products it comes preloaded with general ride profiles (road and off-road) so you can just start riding straight out of the box. It’s got safety and tracking features too like GroupTrack, incident detection and Varia compatibility so you can get peace of mind when you’re out on the road. It does miss out on Strava live segments though which is a bit of a shame.

One of the more interesting bits of new functionality that’s been added is support for power meters. This is something that’s historically been more of a performance feature but manufacturers like Stages, 4iiii, Rotor and SRAM are bringing the cost down and making it more mainstream so we think it’s great to see this added to an entry-level model.
